Job Description

The Customer Service Representative acts as a liaison to residents and the community, providing service information and resolving problems related to services. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Gain customer trust and respect by establishing and maintaining effective relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Professionally greet the public, actively listen, and take care of customer’s needs by providing helpful assistance
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and chat
  • Work directly with customers scheduled for disconnection for non-payment and requesting payment arrangements
  • Review customer accounts, distribute utility billing mail and correspondence, and service-related requests
  • Contact customers to follow up on customer inquiries or to notify them of any planned resolutions to their concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Related Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Special Requirements

  • Computer keyboard (58 wpm) and processing skills
